Mrs. McDevitt read Father's speech from Sermons of the Rev. Moon #42, titled "Test and Overcoming Reality (시련과 현실극복)."

Father talked many heartfelt episodes from his childhood in which he explained how he always shared things with people. 

(@lovintp in English) Today's Hoon Dok Hoe: "For us to talk about what is good and what is bad, there must be a true standard. Things are not just good or bad in vague terms. Who is a good person? Who is a true person? Is such a person alive today? Will such a person be born in the future? (1)

If we human beings choose someone who is on the course of aspiring to become a true person and define him as being a true person, that person in reality will not be true. Ultimately, we must conclude that the definition of a true human being cannot be established by human beings. So, ultimately, we need God. (2)
