Tongil Foundation published the following statement Wednesday, Nov. 14, on a Korean language Internet chat site:

"Tongil Foundation would like to respond as follows to the question posted by Mr. Jeong Dong Cheol.

"On Nov. 14, Mr. Jeong Dong Cheol referred to the material regarding Cheongpyeong being circulated in the name of the 공적자산수호연합 (Federation to Protect Public Assets) and asked that Tongil Foundation state whether it has any involvement in this matter.

"Tongil Foundation would like to respond as follows to Mr. Jeong Dong Cheol's question:

"1. Tongil Foundation has no involvement with the 공적자산수호연합 (Federation to Protect Public Assets).

"2. Tongil Foundation has no involvement in the material regarding Cheongpyeong.

"The mission of the Tongil Foundation is to protect the assets imbued with the blood, sweat and tears of True Parents and to support the Church and the Providence. Our policy is to deal harshly with any actions that go against this.

We know Jeong Dong Cheol to be a fearful fighter against those who have declared their separation from the Unification Church who also speaks from a sincere heart to provide sharp criticism within the Church. We hope we can continue to receive his loving advice for the further development of the Unification Church."
