[Segye Ilbo] Tongil Group information session held for foreign leaders and other VIPS

In the afternoon of the 24th in the Walker Hill Hotel in Gwangjang Dong, Seoul, the Tongil Group held an information session for about 300 heads of states and foreign VIPs including Živko Budimir, the President of Bosne Hercegovine, Morgan Tsvangirai the Prime Minster of Zimbabwe, and Debbie Remengesau, the First Lady of Palau. An introduction to the status of the Tongil Group affiliates Yongpyong Resort, Ilhwa, TIC and Shinjeong Special Vehicles was followed by a luncheon.

Tongil Group Chairman Kook Jin Moon stated in the welcoming address that "sound security and a sound economy are a prerequisite for building a strong country” and also said that “the Tongil Group is small, but it is made up of strong companies. He added "I hope that this information session can translate into good results." The Prime Minister of Hashim Thaçi held a private meeting with Lee Seong-gyun the President of Ilhwa and expressed great interest in the beverage and medicine business.

The national level leaders that attended the information session were visiting Korea for the '2013 World Peace Leaders Conference' sponsored by the Universal Peace Conference (UPF). After the information session the foreign dignitaries including the heads of state viewed a special congratulatory performance by the Little Angels at the Neung Dong Universal Art Center.
