Like the farmer who plants seeds in the Spring and waits for the Fall harvest, all Unificationists should be farmers who nourish the mission of tribal messiahs and harvest fruit.
Spring has come to our providential history. Next month is April, 2013 (by the Heavenly Calendar) which is Spring. Who is the busiest person during the Spring time? It’s the farmer. How about you? God gave us days of hope so that we can be farmers and fulfill our mission that God gave to us.
Koreans call the cold weather “General Winter” right?
Also they call winter “frozen earth.” Then what is
Spring for? Spring is “General Spring”, “spring
earth.” Spring is the season the frozen earth becomes the
earth that can receive seeds. Right? Then what do farmers do? They
make plans during the winter season. What kind of seed do they plant
and harvest? Some farmers may use the same traditional ways, but
people who are more educated use machines to harvest more and better
crops. Study hard to harvest a good crop. If you are a farmer for
God’s will, then the mission to being tribal messiah is your
rich soil. It depends on how you treat this soil. It will be rich
soil or poor soil. Can you realize that?
If you act lazily, even when you have a great season, you won’t get very much harvest. Blessed soil will not produce for you if you are just sitting down. Do you understand?
Today, you watched a short video about True Parents’ life. If you hadn’t met True Parents, what kind of life would you have lived? Probably you would have just worried about your situation in your environment, your family, your country. Right? There are not that many people who want to live a life worrying about the people living next to them or caring about the welfare of their countries or working for the world, right? But the people who met True Parents, do they think wide ... or narrow?
The people who think wide, how wide do they think? How do they need to act? You know how, right? The difference in the result will be determined by how you hard you worked until the Fall. For now, I am looking for what kind of result that you can bring to True Parents by the one-year anniversary of Father’s ascension. Please work hard!

Mother: ... A new spring has also started for us, the new spring
of Cheon Il Guk. A whole new history has begun and a fresh start. We
have all eagerly waited throughout providential history for this
culminating event to take place.
We must be grateful and joyful for having the opportunity to welcome this new era while we are still on earth and remember that we have the responsibility to live a life of practice. Are you all aware of that? Can you feel it? [Yes.]
Now is the time to move forward through actions instead of words. For farmers, spring means energetically and painstakingly plowing their fields and planting seeds in order to harvest enough crops by autumn.
A farmer must take good care of his or her land in the process. Some farmers convey their love by conversing with the land within their hearts, protecting the land and fertilizing it well enough for the seeds to grow well and to produce a great yield.
All of you here today are pastors and leaders in your respective areas. What do you think must be done for the seed of life to yield abundant crops?
