True Parents' Birthday

A Luncheon to Celebrate the Birthday of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind together with approximately 700 participants was held at Cheon Jeong Gung on 1.6 in the third year of Cheon Il Guk (February 24). A beautiful and joyful birthday celebration of the True Parents of Heaven, earth and humankind.

Following True Mother’s entrance Dr. Moon Sun-jin, Director-General of FFWPU-International, joined True Mother for the cake cutting.

True Family members and 700 senior members and their relatives, leaders and officials participated in the Event in which True Mother spoke about the value and importance of True Parents and taught us about our mission

True Mother:

So I thought about something as I ate this delicious lunch: 'Oh, so this is what a loving family looks like." We dream of three generations living beautifully under one roof. There might be a house where three generations are living together but the parents and children quarrel. Then the grandfather and grandmother appear and ask what's wrong. Then the husband, who is their son, explains how his child is being scolded because he wouldn't listen to their parents' words. Then the child, who is the grandchild of the grandparents might say 'I wish my parents would understand me. I am angry because of such and such.' Then what do you think the grandfather or grandmother would say? Hm? Wouldn't they itervene? How would it be if they agree with the parents and also agree with the child? 'How about you work it out without fighting with each other? I understand my child's position and, at the same time, my grandchild's position... The family will then once again find itself in a peaceful state.

With everything wrong in this world, we see very little hope. As days go by, we witness that the world is further traveling down the path of destruction, rather than of peace. Then, what is your center, blessed family members? You have to attend the center. You have to let the people of the world know. True Parents are the ones who can solve the problems that plague your lives. Why should True Parents have to say these things? The path of mutual prosperity can only be trodden when we unify around the parents. Otherwise, everyone loses out.
