Following is an extra note by Katsumi Kambashi concerning the Heavenly Calendar

Regarding the names of the months in the heavenly calender, it says in Korean

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.

(Wol) means 'month' and its Chinese character is . If I spell the numbers in Korea, it is

일월, 이월, 삼월, 사월, 오월, 유월(not 육월), 칠월, 팔월, 구월, 시월 (not 십월), 십일월, 십이월

I remember this year we have 13months and we had 3twice. But I don't know the rules regarding which month we have twice when we have 13 months a year.

If it is the ninth day of the sixth month by the heavenly calendar in the 3rd year of Cheongi, in Korean it is

천기 369(Cheongi Samnyeon Yoowol Gooil)

(nyeon) means "year." (il) means 'day.'

Kook Jin Nim toured a Lego train set in the Bay Area Church that has attracted 6,000 visitors and been covered on television and in newspapers. — at Bay Area Family Church.

Tongil Foundation

Today, Saturday, was a day off on Kook Jin Nim's "Freedom Society" tour of eight major U.S. cities. We traveled from Seattle to Chicago and checked into a hotel. Tomorrow morning, he will speak at Sunday service. Then, we will be off to Texas.

Kook Jin Nim describes America as being addicted to government-sponsored welfare. Like any addiction, it will take a plan executed over time -- perhaps something like a "12-step program" -- for America to free itself of this addiction.

Ultimately, the idea is to have the government stop providing welfare and reduce taxes. Americans are a giving people, and will increase their donations to churches, temples and other charitable organizations of their choice. With the government removed from the social assistance process, people will feel a greater sense of responsibility toward those who need assistance. Cutting the government out of the giving process will reduce or eliminate the social alienation between those who give and those who receive.

Those who need assistance will receive better services, which will be provided more efficiently at a lower cost.

The cost will go down, because we will be cutting out the middle man (government) between those who provide charitable funds and those who receive them. Also, private welfare providers will be competing against each other. Competition will reduce cost and increase quality.
