1,000 lamps in Swoyambyo, Nepal in honor of Father Moon’s
life.
Today,
Sept. 9 in Kathmandu, Nepal, 1,000 oil lamps were lit in honor of
Father Moon’s life. Venerable Khenpo Sangye Kalsang, Principal
and Director of the Buddha Dharma Center in Swoyambyo, held a very
special ceremony at one of the oldest and most famous Buddhist
Temples in Nepal. The ceremony of lighting 1,000 lamps, chanting and
prayers were conducted in greatest respect of Father Moon’s
interreligious activities and education throughout the world.
The
