Personnel Changes in HSA-UWC USA

Dear Blessed Families and Members,

We are pleased to announce two important personnel changes in HSA-UWC USA.

Dr. Michael Jenkins has been appointed as Director of Business Investments and Asset Development where he serves as Chairman of the holding companies in which HSA has invested and oversees all HSA properties and assets. Rev. Eric Holt has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Jenkins and Rev. Holt have been asked by True Mother to work together in developing the business investments and property holdings to give greater financial support for the American Church as well as the Unification Church Worldwide. Both report directly to the President.

Dr. Michael Jenkins' Biography

Dr. Jenkins joined the Unification Church in 1974 in Ohio and graduated from the first class of the Unification Theological Seminary in 1977. He then served in the position of State Leader throughout the nation for many years. From 1997 through 2008, he served as master of ceremonies for True Parents' many speaking tours of America. He attended True Mother's travels in over 120 events and with True Father on the 50 state tour and 28 other events in America.

In 1999, Dr. Jenkins became Vice President of the Unification Church of America and from May, 2000 through March, 2009 served as President of the Unification Church of America. During that same period, he also served as Chairman of IIFWP USA which later became the UPF USA. He helped organize the historic pilgrimages that True Parents initiated to develop interfaith dialogue and conferences for the Middle East Peace Initiative. In March, 2009, he was appointed by True Father as Chairman of the American Clergy Leadership Conference where he oversaw the development of clergy centered on the Exposition of the Divine Principle and Original Substance of the Divine Principle. In 2012, he received his Doctorate in Ministry from the Unification Theological Seminary.

As President of the Unification Church, Dr. Jenkins oversaw the work to give daily reports on True Father's words and heart for America and True Parents direct guidance on Blessed Family Life, Tribal Messiahship and America's providential role as the 2nd Israel and Elder Son Nation. During that time, he helped oversee the development of many of the current businesses that are held as investments of HSA. He returns now with a more focused role in the business group but will continue to work with ACLC as Chairman Emeritus and Executive Committee member.

Dr. Jenkins was blessed in marriage on July 1, 1982 at Madison Square Garden to the former Reiko Sakata, and together they have five children. His son and daughter-in-law have one son.

Rev. Eric Holt's Biography

Rev. Holt joined the Unification Church in 1971 while a student at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He served as a pioneer missionary in Liverpool, England, before coming to the United States in 1973.

In America, Rev. Holt served for several years on National MFT and several years of witnessing activities. He then worked for True World Group as Director of its Legal Department. He graduated from the Unification Theological Seminary in 1994 and served as Pastor of the WestRock NY church, and then as the New York District Pastor.

In 2001, Rev. Holt entered into financial management as the church's Comptroller and later its Treasurer and has continued to serve in that capacity. His work has been vital in establishing a highly-effective accounting system for the national church as well as providing financial oversight of the HSA business investments. He has an MBA and a Master's Degree in Accounting, and expects to receive his New York state CPA license early next year.

Rev. Holt and his wife, Kanae, were blessed in marriage in the Madison Square Garden Blessing in 1982. They have three children in their twenties. Their family lives in Irvington, New York, and they are members of the WestRock church.
