Re.: Blessed Families Special Jeongseong for True Father’s Recovery and Good Health

May God and True Parents’ blessings and love be with all regions, mission nations and providential organizations.

In his recent message on 6.28 by the heavenly calendar in the 3rd year of Cheon-gi, the International President has called for a special period of offering jeongseong and prayer for True Father’s swift recovery and the victory of Foundation Day.

Please refer to the following details regarding a special 40-day jeongseong that has begun in Korea for True Father’s recovery. We pray that through this special jeongseong period, all members of the Unification Family can reaffirm their attitude of faith based on the values of absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience to True Parents under a single and common heart and will.

1. Jeongseong Duration: 6.29 (Thu) - 8.9 (Mon) by the heavenly calendar in the 3rd year of Cheon-gi (August 16 - September 24, 2012)

- For True Father’s speedy recovery, health and longevity

4. How to offer jeongseong (in a way that all members can be united in offering jeongseong during this period)

(1) Holding a special relay prayer meeting at each church

- It can be an early morning or vigil prayer along with hoondok reading of the eight great textbooks and teaching material

(2) Special 3-day fast (to commence from 0:00 am, Friday 6.30 by the heavenly calendar)

(3) Continue with the 200-day special jeongseong for Foundation Day (hoonokhae, 120 bows, etc.)

5. Administrative matters

(1) Each region and mission nation should refer to the above details in commencing their own jeongseong. Please feel free to offer jeongseong through methods other than those indicated above, such as relay fasting, hoondok and bowing conditions, centering on your regional president and national leader.

(2) Blessed children who are high school students or younger, and others, should consult with their national leader or local church leader and take part in this special jeongseong by offering jeongseong conditions appropriate to their circumstances.
