Dear District Pastors, Local
Pastors and Blessed Family Members;
We understand that there
has been some confusion about how the Blessing Ceremony will be
conducted in the U.S. We apologize for our part in creating this
confusion. Please read this letter in full, for clarification.
The
main Blessing Ceremony will be held in Korea as a part of the 1st
Anniversary of Foundation Day Celebration. The program will begin
on Wednesday, February 12th at 10am Korea time with the
Blessing Ceremony. There will be a live webcast of the Korea
celebration available in the U.S. on Tuesday, February 11th at 8pm
EST (webcast begins at 7pm). A link to this webcast will be made
available to all communities.
Each
local community or district should prepare their own Foundation Day
and Blessing Celebration for all the members of their community.
Additionally, we
recommend that each state or district with individuals/couples
planning to remain in the U.S. to participate in the Blessing
Ceremony, prepare a special Blessing celebration for the couples,
their families and their guests. Components of this celebration may
include a catered meal, entertainment, encouraging messages from
community members, and gifts for each couple. The celebration may
take place before and, or after tuning into the live broadcast, or at
a later date, after Foundation Day. A portion of each Blessing
participant's Blessing offering will be made available to the
community that hosts the Blessing Celebration they participate in.
